How's the semester going so far?

The semester is going great so far. I had some trouble at the beginning of the semester with my classes, but now, I am used to the techniques the professors use to teach. I noticed that some of my professors use Power Point presentation to give lectures, while some of my professors use the white or chalk board. Many professors are different from each other and I think that makes them unique in their own ways =)

Biology was a difficult course for me because I procrastinated in studying for the quizzes and exams. However, now I learned my lesson the hard way, by getting poor grades on my tests, which brought huge disappointment to my teacher, but mostly, to me. I learned that procrastination is not going to take me far in life; it is just going to screw me up. So, I decided to study for exam #2 and I studied for the whole week. Then, my hard work paid off! I got 100/120, which was a huge improvement in my test score. I was so proud of myself, and my professor was also proud of me, too. From now on, I am going to try harder in all of my classes and I am aiming for straight A's in all of my classes. It is now the 12th week of my first semester in college and it is almost gone. For the remaining time, I am going to do my best in all that I do!

College is a serious business and I am going to take it seriously. I am going to push myself to exceed the highest expectations. "I know I can and I know I will."
